Frequently asked questions
Does TrueLoad require an account?
No. TrueLoad version 1.0 does not require an account.
Can I use TrueLoad offline?
Yes. Core records and batch QR scanning work offline. WeatherKit requests require a network connection when you choose to request current environmental information.
How do I load the Review Sample Workspace?
In TrueLoad, open Profiles → Settings → Review Sample Workspace. This loads the in-app example workspace used to review the workflow without requiring your own records.
How do I connect a BLE printer?
Turn on a compatible BLE thermal label printer and keep it nearby. In TrueLoad, open the printer control, scan for nearby printers, select yours, and connect. Physical printing requires a compatible BLE thermal printer.
Why is the printer missing from the iOS Bluetooth pairing list?
TrueLoad manages a direct BLE connection inside the app. Some BLE printers do not use the standard iOS Settings pairing screen, so connect from TrueLoad’s printer control instead. This is not AirPrint and does not use Wi-Fi.
How do I scan a batch QR code?
Open the batch QR scanner in TrueLoad, allow camera access when prompted, and place the complete TrueLoad batch label inside the scan frame. Scanning is processed on device and works offline.
Can I enter weather and ballistic environment values manually?
Yes. Open the environment fields for the relevant range session or ballistic calculation and enter the displayed values manually. Location permission is optional.
How do I delete local records?
Open the record you want to remove and use its delete action. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Deleting the app or its data from iOS also removes TrueLoad’s locally stored records.
How do I reset the Sample Workspace?
Go to Profiles → Settings → Review Sample Workspace and use the reset option. Reset deletes the built-in SAMPLE data only. It does not delete or change any records you created.
